Trend Personnel Services is hiring an experienced Punch Press Set-Up / Operator for an established manufacturing client in Garland, TX. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity for someone with hands-on experience setting up and/or operating punch press equipment in a production environment.
Responsibilities
- Set up and/or operate punch press equipment for production runs
- Install and adjust dies, tooling, and machine settings as required
- Read and follow work orders, prints, specifications, and production instructions
- Load materials and monitor equipment throughout production
- Inspect finished parts to ensure quality and dimensional accuracy
- Make basic machine adjustments and troubleshoot production issues
- Maintain accurate production and quality documentation
- Follow all safety, quality, and housekeeping procedures
Qualifications
- Previous punch press operating and/or set-up experience required
- Experience working with dies, tooling, and metal manufacturing processes preferred
- Ability to read basic blueprints, drawings, and measuring instruments
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and maintain production standards
- Reliable attendance and a strong commitment to workplace safety
Pay: $24–$27/hour, depending on experience.
